Deere & Company, Inc. および John Deere Asia (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. 株式会社ジョンディア（以 下、総称して「ディア」という）は、2020年3月に農林水産省が策定した「農業分野 におけるAI・データに関する契約ガイドライン」（以下「MAFFガイドライン」とい う）の内容に基づき、2026年 に発効するジョンディア顧客組織契約（以下「本契約」 という）の利用規約を改訂しました。この契約により、お客様はJohn Deere Operations Center（「オペレーションセンター」）の機械監視および農業支援サービス、ならびに Deere が提供するその他のウェブサイトおよびアプリケーション（「ツール」）を利用で きるようになります。
オペレーションセンターを通じて、お客様の農業機械（トラクター、コンバイン、噴霧 器など）に関する運用データや農学データ（機械情報、作業情報、作業計画、その他の 情報など）を収集・管理します。
ディアの顧客組織利用規約およびプライバシーに関する通知は、MAFFガイドラインと 以下の点で異なります。
- MAFFガイドラインではデータの管理状況に関する報告が義務付けられています が、ディアの顧客組織利用規約およびプライバシー通知では、顧客データの管理 方法が規定されており、ディアが顧客データを保護するためのセキュリティ対策 を実施および維持していることが説明されています。
- MAFFガイドラインでは、顧客がデータの使用状況やデータの利用状況を確認で きますが、 ディアの顧客組織利用規約とプライバシー通知は、顧客が詳細情報 を入手するための連絡先が提供されている点で異なります。
- MAFFガイドラインでは、準拠法および裁判管轄地としてそれぞれ日本法と日本 が規定されていますが、ディアの顧客組織利用規約およびプライバシー通知で は、米国および米国法が記載されています。

Compliance with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries’Guidelines on Contracts Relating to AI and Data in the Agricultural Sector
Deere & Company, Inc. and John Deere Asia (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (collectively referred as, ‘Deere’) based on the contents of the “Guidelines on Contracts Relating to AI and Data in the Agricultural Sector (“MAFF Guidelines”) formulated by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in March 2020, have revised the terms of use for John Deere Customer Organization Agreement with effect from 2026 (‘Agreement’). This Agreement enables our customers to utilize machine monitoring and farming support services in John Deere Operations Center (“Operations Center”) as well as other websites and applications (“Tools”) provided by Deere. .
Through Operations Center, we collect and manage operational and agronomic data (such as machine information, job information, work plans, and other information) relating to a customer’s agricultural equipment (such as tractors, combines, sprayers, etc).
Deere Customer Organization Terms and Conditions and Privacy Notice differ from the MAFF Guidelines as follows:
- The MAFF Guidelines require reporting on the management status of data, but the Deere Organization Customer Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Notice stipulate how a customer’s data is managed and explain that Deere implements and maintains security measures to protect customer data.
- The MAFF Guidelines allow a customer to check on data usage and use of the data, the Deere Customer Organization Terms and Conditions and Privacy Notice differ by providing a point of contact for a customer to obtain detailed information.
- The MAFF Guidelines stipulate Japanese law and Japan as the governing law and court of jurisdiction, respectively, but Deere Customer Organization Terms and Conditions and Privacy Notice list United States and the United States law.
