John Deere has been integrating engines and drivetrains into machines since 1949 when we built our first diesel engine for our Model R tractor. In the 1970s, OEMs quickly realized they could tap into this knowledge and power for their equipment, too. Today, John Deere has built solid relationships with OEMs around the world. OEM engines and drivetrain components aren't a side business for John Deere Power Systems
